I chose this video because it shows just how involved our election season was this year, and also because the people in the video use many of the technologies that we explored in Learn & Play. Obviously, they are using Twitter and text messages to get updates on the problems with voting - long lines, questionable voting officials, etc. I think I also saw a wiki page inside their website that people can upload frequently. They are also using something called a dynamic map that aggregates the information, and maps what kinds of voting issues are happening where. They also talked about hash or hashing. Anybody know what that is? So yeah, I was able to follow most of the conversation and that validated once again the Learn & Play initiative.
